Evawave was selected as a resident startup of the AICT Makerspace Lab and moved into the institute's space in Gwanggyo, Suwon. The Advanced Institute of Convergence Technology (AICT) is a convergence-technology research institute founded jointly by Gyeonggi Province and Seoul National University.
We use this space as the base where we assemble and inspect the sensor kits that go into real homes. Having built everything ourselves — from sensor hardware and firmware to the caregiver app — we needed a workshop where prototypes can be made and checked by hand.
Every device that goes to a pilot household is inspected here, one by one.
