About
Evawave was founded in May 2026 by three people from the same SW Maestro cohort. We wanted to shorten the hours that pass unnoticed when something happens to an older adult living alone, and while looking for a way to know without bringing in a camera or attaching anything to the body, we arrived at the WiFi signals already in the home.
We build the sensor hardware and firmware, the server, and the caregiver app ourselves, with no outsourcing, and they are installed and running in real homes. We intend to be a company that does not exaggerate and says only what it has verified in the field.
At a glance
Mission and Vision
Mission
Protecting older adults' dignity and privacy while making sure care teams and families know when a check is needed — even during the hours spent alone.
Vision
Starting with care, we aim to become the default sensor for every space where someone is responsible for checking in.
Privacy-first
We handle only the activity signals that are needed — no cameras, no voice recording.
We collect no video and no audio
Non-invasive
We pursue technology that works within everyday life, with nothing for the older adult to wear or press.
After installation there is nothing for the older adult to operate
Rather than promises, we build up features and data verified in real installed environments.
Our news covers only what we have actually done
Accessible care
Our goal is reassuring technology that more homes and care settings can use — not complex, expensive care equipment.
We start with the home's WiFi and small sensors
The name 'Evawave' is about perceiving spaces and people ('EVA') and reading the clues in the waveforms of signals ('WAVE').

Team
Evawave is a three-person team covering product planning and commercialization, sensor hardware and firmware, and the caregiver app with WiFi CSI research. All three came through the same SW Maestro cohort, each with experience launching and operating services, and we build and run everything ourselves — from the sensor to the app.
