On September 22, 2026, Evawave was determined to be a social venture company (No. 2026-01-2498). The determination is made by the Korea Technology Finance Corporation (KIBO) under Korea's operating guidelines for the social venture support program, and it weighs both the social purpose a company pursues and the innovation and growth potential of its technology and business.
What we do is itself the social side of that assessment: checking, without cameras or wearables, whether an older adult living alone is going about the day as usual, and passing that on to their family and to the people who care for them.
A determination is a single result, and the work that remains is the record we build in the field. We will keep refining the service from what we verify together with care providers.
