No need to keep checking — we let you know when something's different
Know that a parent living far away is going about their day as usual, without calling every day. No cameras and nothing to wear — only everyday activity signals from the home. We are now recruiting households for a free pilot.

One sensor kit keeps watch — no cameras
Evawave consists of small contactless sensors installed in the home and a caregiver app. Plug them into outlets in the main rooms and installation is done. Older adults wear or operate nothing, and family members can check from the app that their parents are going about their day as usual.
- Installation as simple as plugging into an outlet
- Contactless sensing with nothing to wear or operate
- No video or audio — only everyday activity signals
- Check on the day's wellbeing from the caregiver app

Watching over the main rooms of the home at once
Small sensors are placed in the rooms where daily life happens — the living room, the kitchen, the bedroom. We look at the flow of daily life moving between spaces, not just movement in a single spot.

Why not cameras
The spaces where safety checks matter most are exactly where cameras feel intrusive. Evawave reads everyday activity signals without any video, providing reassurance while protecting privacy.

No video, no audio — we read only everyday activity signals and pass them to caregivers.
No cameras
Status is inferred from sensor signals alone — no video, no audio — so it feels far less intrusive even in sensitive spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms.
Nothing to wear
It works within everyday life, with no watch or button to wear or charge.
No disruption
Once installed, it works without changing how someone lives.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most about Evawave.
What is Evawave?
A contactless reassurance-monitoring service that checks on seniors living alone using everyday activity signals from the home — no cameras or wearables. With a small sensor installed at your parents' home, the caregiver app shows their 'last activity time' and the rhythm of their day.
What can it tell me?
Today it provides last activity time, a morning wake-up check, and the day's activity rhythm, and it alerts caregivers when there is no movement for an extended period. Finer capabilities such as suspected-fall alerts and activity-pattern change detection are in research and development, and will be added step by step after verification in real homes.
Does it use cameras or microphones?
No. It collects no video or audio whatsoever and analyzes only activity signals. So it feels far less intrusive even in sensitive spaces such as bedrooms.
When can I use it?
We are currently recruiting households for the first free pilot. Participation — from installation to operation — is provided free of charge, and you can apply at any time on the pre-registration page. Launch updates are shared on our KakaoTalk channel.
What does it cost?
Pricing will be finalized through the 2026 pilot and announced afterwards. We aim for a subscription that more households can afford — not expensive professional equipment.
How is personal data handled?
No video or audio is collected in the first place. What we handle are activity signals — such as whether there is movement — and we operate proper consent procedures for collection and use. Specific data-handling standards will be published as the pilot progresses.
